Spiral on leather necklace

A hand forged spiral of silver hangs from a 2mm black thong, flanked by turned brass beads. It is knotted and adjusts from 16″-20″.  Two brass barrel beads hang at the ends of the adjustment pulls.

   A Carnelian donut disc hangs with a silver band of wrapped wire in the center of this colorful , ethnic-looking piece.  Two large, barrel shaped beads of amber , brought back from my trip to Africa, are  accented with sterling domes on either ends.   Handmade toggle clasp in sterling silver.  This piece hangs at about 18”.   $110

   This big, beautiful piece is carefully hand forged , combining two different gauges of wire. A large, hand made hook clasp, blends in at a front closure.  A  snake chain adds movement.  All in Sterling Silver and hangs at about 18”, laying nicely on the chest.  Blue turquoise rounds strung to frame a beautiful carved turtle bone bead.  An antique of amber color is centered in the bracelet.  Handmade sterling toggle clasp with a corn cob charm dangling.

 This is an old turquoise stone, beautifully veined and encircled with hand formed leaves, set on three rings of 1/2 round wire.  Reinforced ends.  A nice, large, one-of-a-kind piece .



Good Path Shield earrings

These shield earrings are completely hand tooled .  Each  mark is individually crafted by my hand.  Very intricate.  I was inspired by a Native American symbol for “good path to travel”, or “the good red road”.   I love these earrings. Very meditative and centering.

All sterling silver, and the discs are about one inch across.


It’s About Time necklace

time-nk-copy.jpgIt’s about time!  This piece seems to go on forever….  There are some vintage clock faces, gears, old clock parts, and reproduced clock parts in an antiqued patina.  Brass scrolled wire, with amber colored beads, clock hands, tree branches, discs with colorful seed beads wire-stitched on them.  It’s all here, and more!  A great conversation piece.  It hangs at about 22″.

Bird cuff:  A wide sterling cuff with a graceful bird motif.  The ends of this cuff have a decorative shape.  The design flows completely around.

new ideas for jewelry…

I’ve got some exciting ideas brewing for jewelry projects.  Waiting for the weather to get better so I  can comfortably work in my studio.  I don’t know how I am going to get the space finished while I am working in it.  Sometimes it is so hard to keep up my creative energy while I am doing other necessary non-art projects.  It taps off my creative juices and  a dry spell seems necessary to hurl myself into productivity again.  I think I need a genie…
