In the Victorian era, people had their “miniatures” painted. Sometimes just a mystery lover’s eye in a locket or on an ivory button. I love the concept. Windows to the soul, an image of the eye is very expressive. These are painted on miniature 2″x2″ stretched canvases . They come with a mini easel to display it on, but can easily be hung somewhere in a nook on a wall, from a tiny nail or standing tack. …perhaps within a cluster of other pictures.
