I am working on a series of miniature eye paintings. In the Victorian era, people would have their “miniatures” done by an artist. Usually the work was done on ivory. A secret lover’s eye was usually encased in a locket or worn as a button.
I am painting the eye on a 2″x2″ miniature stretched canvas and including a nice little easel to display it on. It can also be hung in a nook on a wall, by a small nail or tack.
I can do custom paintings if I have a photo.
The above photo is not quite full size.
